Matthew 19:16-24... Please read this passage first before reading any further.

The man in this passage, claimed to have kept all the commandments.  He was seeking eternal life.  He went to the right person to ask His question.  Yet he went away sad because his great wealth came between God and him.  His great wealth was his god and the lord of his life.  Jesus didn't condemn wealth; He condemned wealth as the master of this man's life.

Matthew 6:24 says, "No one can serve two masters.
Either he will hate the one and love the other,
Or he will be devoted to the one and despised the other.
You cannot serve both God and money."

Money can buy a Watch, but not Time.

Money can buy a House, but not a Home.

Money can buy Sex, but not Love.

Money can buy a Book, but not Knowledge.

Money can a Position, but not Respect.

Money can buy Medicine, but not Health.
Money can buy Blood, but not Life.
Money can buy a Toy, but not Joy.

Money isn't what's important it is our relationship with God, the Lord Jesus Christ and that is the utmost importance.  So keep your perspective right when it come to handling money and be thankful to the Lord for what He has done for you.
