From The Heart Of Our Pastor

Wow!  Here we are approaching July and it's one of my favorite months of the Calendar Year.
Why, You may ask?  Because, I love the history of "Independence Day" and I know that you know, it's a national holiday of the United States of America commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.  At the signing the United States consisted of 13 colonies under the rule of England's King George III.  There was growing concern of the taxes that had to be paid to England and hopefully you know this situation led those colonies to war with England which led to our becoming independent from England.

Even though I love our country and the history behind how we became a country, I love greater the opportunity that you and I receive from our Lord on how we can receive our Independence from a world that has gone wrong.  Someone said, we live in an "Upside Down World" and I believe that to be true.  We aren't in a perfect world and we don't live "Right side up" as people of this country either at this point of our History.  We were at the time of the signing  of the Declaration a Nation Under God and I am not sure if we truly are anymore at this point in our history, a Nation Under God.
Therefore, in order to receive our "True independence" as a child of God we need to know that we have come to Jesus for forgiveness of our sin(s) and repent of them and receive Independence from them.  That's the greatest act of life we can take and it's just there free for our choosing (it's Freely Given and Freely
Received!)
If you want true freedom, than allow Jesus to give it to you through your decision to follow Him in the true Battle of Independence.  Be one who takes a stand for true Freedom and Justice for All!
Mark on your calendar of your journey of life, when you truly received and celebrate your Independence Day.

     I ask, Why Not?

Happy Independance Day to each and everyone of you!!!
